Pour ce concert des Amis du Festival, il a été proposé au Susato Trio de revenir à Stavelot, après leur brillante prestation de l’été 2023. Depuis leur victoire au concours Génération classique, chacun de leurs concerts confirme leurs qualités. Le programme choisi fait honneur à quatre compositrices des 19e et 20e siècles, dont le talent a été peu reconnu à leur époque. Fanny Mendelssohn et Clara Schumann nous entraînent dans les chemins tracés par les deux amis inséparables que furent Félix et Robert, tandis que Mel Bonis et Lily Boulanger nous font découvrir l’héritage de Franck et de Fauré.
For this "Friends of the Festival" concert, the Susato Trio has been invited to return to Stavelot, following their brilliant performance in the summer of 2023. Since their victory in the Génération Classique competition, each of their concerts has confirmed their talents. The chosen program honors four female composers from the 19th and 20th centuries, whose talent was little recognized in their time. Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann take us on the paths traced by the two inseparable friends Félix and Robert, while Mel Bonis and Lily Boulanger introduce us to the legacy of Franck and Fauré.
