Après la traditionnelle Messe des Artistes, solennisée par les membres musiciens du Festival, le concert d’ouverture à l’église Saint-Sébastien sera consacré à Jean–Sébastien Bach et à son cher cousin, Johann Bernhard. On y retrouvera des artistes de grande réputation : l’ensemble français L’Achéron, dirigé par François Joubert-Caillet, et la soprano, originaire de la région, Sophie Karthäuser.
After the Traditional Artists’ Mass, solemnized by the festival’s musician members, the opening concert at the Church of Saint-Sébastien will be devoted to Johann Sebastian Bach and his cherished cousin, Johann Bernhard. We will find highly reputed artists there: the French ensemble L’Achéron, conducted by François Joubert-Caillet, and the soprano Sophie Karthäuser, who is from the region.
