Après une formation en cuisine, le ténor britannique Samuel Boden s’est tourné vers le chant, étudiant au Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Lauréat de plusieurs prix, il a collaboré avec des ensembles renommés comme The Sixteen et l’Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Spécialiste de musique ancienne, il a chanté des rôles marquants tels qu’Actéon de Charpentier et Hippolyte (Hippolyte et Aricie). Apprécié pour sa maîtrise du style français baroque et son timbre lyrique, il se distingue également dans des répertoires variés allant du chant élisabéthain à West Side Story.
After training as a cook, British tenor Samuel Boden turned to singing, studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. The winner of several prizes, he has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as The Sixteen and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. A specialist in early music, he has sung such notable roles as Charpentier’s Actéon and Hippolyte (Hippolyte et Aricie). Appreciated for his mastery of the French Baroque style and his lyrical timbre, he has also distinguished himself in a variety of repertoires ranging from Elizabethan singing to West Side Story.
