Né à New York en 1988, Marc Sabbah est alto solo du Belgian National Orchestra depuis 2012. Salué par Zubin Mehta comme « un musicien magnifique », il est invité par de prestigieux orchestres tels que l’Orchestre Philharmonique d’Israël et l’Orchestre de la Tonhalle de Zurich. Formé à la Juilliard School et au Conservatoire d’Amsterdam (Cum Laude), il enseigne depuis 2017 au Conservatoire royal de Mons et collabore avec de nombreux ensembles européens. Lauréat de concours internationaux (Carnegie Hall, Philharmonie de Berlin), il se produit dans de grands festivals et en duo avec la pianiste Éliane Reyes. Fondateur du Festival « Kâsteaux » (2019), il a joué avec des artistes comme Ivry Gitlis, Pinchas Zukerman et Kim Kashkashian. Ambassadeur Jargar Strings, il joue un alto Leroy F. Geiger (1951).

Praised by Zubin Mehta as “a magnificent musician,” he is regularly invited by renowned orchestras such as the Israel Philharmonic and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. Trained at the Juilliard School and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (Cum Laude), he has taught at the Royal Conservatory of Mons since 2017 and collaborates with numerous European ensembles. A prizewinner at major international competitions (Carnegie Hall, Berlin Philharmonie), he performs at leading festivals and in a duo with pianist Éliane Reyes. Founder of the “Kâsteaux” Festival (2019), he has performed alongside artists such as Ivry Gitlis, Pinchas Zukerman, and Kim Kashkashian. A Jargar Strings ambassador, he plays a 1951 Leroy F. Geiger viola.
