La soprano Annelies Deweerdt et le pianiste Tomas Colsoul, tous deux d’origine flamande, se sont rencontrés au Conservatoire royal de Mons, où ils poursuivent actuellement un master. Leur passion pour le Lied romantique allemand les rapproche et inspire un dialogue artistique riche entre voix et piano. Leur projet artistique cherche à rendre cette musique accessible au grand public, tout en offrant un regard original et approfondi au public averti, grâce à lettres, et écrits historiques qui éclairent les œuvres sous une nouvelle lumière.
Soprano Annelies Deweerdt and pianist Tomas Colsoul, both originally from Flanders, met at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, where they are currently completing their master’s degrees. Their shared passion for the German Romantic Lied has brought them together and inspires a rich artistic dialogue between voice and piano. Their project aims to make this repertoire accessible to a wide audience, while offering informed listeners a fresh and in-depth perspective through letters and historical writings that shed new light on the works.
