Dorine Mortelmans is a Belgian soprano known forher versatility across opera, contemporary music theatre, oratorio, and lied.She has performed with major houses such as La Monnaie, Opera Vlaanderen, and Theater Bielefeld, in roles ranging from Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) to Belinda (Dido and Aeneas) and Anne Frank (Anne und Zef).A passionate interpreter of oratorio and chamber music, she regularly sings with renowned orchestras and choirs. Dorine studied at the Antwerp Conservatory, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, and Opera Studio Nederland. She is also committed to pedagogy, teaching singing and yoga for musicians, and creating personal projects that combine storytelling, gesture, and music.
