Après avoir obtenu son bachelier au Conservatoire royal de Liège en 2018, Valère Burnon part étudier en Allemagne auprès de Florence Millet à la Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Il est artiste en résidence à la Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth depuis 2022. Ces dernières années, il perfectionne ses compétences pianistiques à l’Accademia Internazionale di Imola. Primé aux concours d’Épinal (Premier Prix, 2019), de Brême (Premier Prix, 2021), Long-Thibaud (prix Révélation, 2022) et Viotti (deuxième prix, 2023), parmi d’autres compétitions, il a notamment partagé la scène avec le Sinfonia Varsovia, l’Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, ainsi que les orchestres symphoniques de Milan et de Metz. Il s’est produit dans les salles philharmoniques de Cologne, Liège et Luxembourg, ainsi qu’à la Salle Cortot à Paris et à la Tonhalle de Düsseldorf. Ayant étudié le violon comme premier instrument, il ressent une affinité particulière pour le répertoire chambriste. Il a enregistré deux CD et depuis 2022, enseigne la musique de chambre au Conservatoire royal de Liège.

After earning his bachelor's degree from the Royal Conservatory of Liège in 2018, Valère Burnon went on to study in Germany with Florence Millet at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. He has been an artist in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel since 2022. In recent years, he has been honing his piano skills at the Accademia Internazionale di Imola. A prizewinner at several competitions — including First Prize in Épinal (2019), First Prize in Bremen (2021), the Revelation Prize at the Long-Thibaud Competition (2022), and Second Prize in Viotti (2023) — he has performed with the Sinfonia Varsovia, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège, and the symphony orchestras of Milan and Metz. He has appeared in the philharmonic halls of Cologne, Liège, and Luxembourg, as well as at the Salle Cortot in Paris and the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf. Having originally studied violin as his first instrument, he has a special affinity for chamber music repertoire. He has recorded two CDs and, since 2022, has been teaching chamber music at the Royal Conservatory of Liège.Third Prize and Musiq3 Audience Prize at the 2025 Queen Elisabeth Competition.
