Tomasz Ritter, a Polish pianist born in 1995, studied in Lublin, Warsaw, and later at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with Mikhail Voskresensky, Alexei Lubimov, Maria Uspenskaya, and Alexei Shevchenko. Deeply engaged with historical performance, he honed his skills with masters such as Malcolm Bilson, Andreas Staier, Tobias Koch, and through collaborations with piano maker Peter Šefl. Ritter is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam and, most notably, the 1st International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments (2018). He has performed across Europe and Japan, appeared in major festivals in Poland, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and France, and released a debut album with works by Bach, Beethoven, Szymanowski, and Ginastera on the Polish label Muza.
