Jesko Sirvend a étudié la direction d’orchestre à la Hochschule für Musik und Tanz de Cologne. Il se fait remarquer en 2012 et 2015 au concours Nikolai Malko pour jeunes chefs d’orchestre à Copenhague et collabore en France avec plusieurs chefs. Avec E. Krivine, il dirige l’Orchestre National de France (2016-2020). En tant que chef associé de l’Orchestre symphonique de Düsseldorf, Jesko Sirvend a notamment été responsable, de 2014 à 2020, de la direction musicale des #IGNITION-Konzerte. La saison 2024/25 le verra diriger plusieurs orchestres européens, dont le Belgian National Orchestra.
Jesko Sirvend studied conducting at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. He made a name for himself in 2012 and 2015 at the Nikolai Malko competition for young conductors in Copenhagen, and collaborated with several conductors in France. With E. Krivine, he conducts the Orchestre National de France (2016-2020). As Associate Conductor of the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, Jesko Sirvend was responsible for the musical direction of #IGNITION-Konzerte from 2014 to 2020. The 2024/25 season will see him conduct several European orchestras, including the Belgian National Orchestra.
