Né à Arezzo en 1984, Francesco Corti étudie le clavecin à Genève et Amsterdam. Lauréat des concours de Leipzig et Bruges, il se produit dans les plus grandes salles et festivals internationaux. Il collabore avec Les Musiciens du Louvre, Zefiro, Bach Collegium Japan, Les Talens Lyriques ou Le Concert des Nations. Depuis 2018, il est chef principal invité de Il Pomo d’Oro, avec lequel il dirige et enregistre de nombreuses productions, dont Orlando, Radamisto, Agrippina ou The Fairy Queen. Il est également invité par Tafelmusik, le Freiburger Barockorchester et la Nederlandse Bachvereniging. Sa discographie solo, saluée par la presse (Diapason d’Or 2022), comprend des œuvres de Bach, Haendel, Mozart, Haydn, Couperin ou Rossini. Francesco Corti est professeur de clavecin à la Schola Cantorum Basiliensis depuis 2016.
Born in Arezzo in 1984, Francesco Corti studied the harpsichord in Geneva and Amsterdam. A prizewinner in the Leipzig and Bruges competitions, he has performed in the world's leading concert halls and festivals. He has worked with Les Musiciens du Louvre, Zefiro, Bach Collegium Japan, Les Talens Lyriques and Le Concert des Nations. Since 2018, he has been Principal Guest Conductor of Il Pomo d'Oro, with whom he conducts and records numerous productions, including Orlando, Radamisto, Agrippina or The Fairy Queen. He has also been invited by Tafelmusik, the Freiburger Barockorchester and the Nederlandse Bachvereniging. His solo discography, acclaimed by the press (Diapason d'Or 2022), includes works by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Haydn, Couperin and Rossini. Francesco Corti has been professor of harpsichord at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis since 2016.
