With a history that began in 1957, the Les Nuits de Septembre festival (Liège) has established itself in the Belgian landscape as an essential event of early music in Belgium, mixing several centuries of repertoire, ranging from the Middle Ages to the end of the classical era. Fundamentally focused on ancient music, the September Nuits are also open to original experiences combining past masterpieces, musicological research and contemporary creations, through confrontations that are often rich in meaning and surprises. The festival regularly partners with partners such as the Royal Liège Philharmonic Orchestra, the University of Liège or the Royal Opera of Wallonia.
